型染め作家 山内武志さんのアフリカのような模様の型染布を表具に、アフリカ・ギニアの家族をモチーフにしたオブジェらが、可愛らしい壁面を演出しています。畳間にはダイニングテーブルと椅子を並べ、庭の景色を眺めることが出来ます。一階にはキッチンが備え付けされており、地元の野菜やお肉を買ってきていただき、皆様で調理頂くことも出来ます。朝食は別途ご用意させていただきます。入口玄関から、芹沢銈介さんの絵が皆様を迎えてくれます。
Enjoy the views of the inner garden from the first floor tatami room, where the tatami is hand crafted from Japanese washi paper. The room features artist Takeshi Yamauchi's stencil dyed fabrics, framed art of Keisuke Serizawa and sculptural art from Guinea, Africa. The first floor includes a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare the famous vegetables and meats of Sasayama. Breakfast is available upon request.
二階への階段をあがる手摺は、地元の椅子作家 大橋力さんに制作いただいたペーパーコードを巻いたもの。洗面台の椅子も同じく大橋さんの椅子です。二階の窓から望む古瓦の屋根が並んだ風景は素敵でお勧めします。一階のお風呂とは別に、二階にも洗面・シャワールームをご用意しております。
The handrail to the second floor and the chair in the vanity are hand-crafted by local chairmaker Chikara Ohashi. The primary bath on the first floor and is complemented by an additional shower and washbasin on the second floor. From the upstairs windows, experience the views over the tiled rooftops to the Sasayama Castle grounds. To the front, look out on the traditional street lined with historic buildings.
二階は広い三室の畳間となっており、セミダブルのベッドが二台、お布団を敷かせて頂き、ご友人・ご家族共に最大六名様まで宿泊が可能となっております。二階の表具にも山内武志さんの型染布が和室に彩を与えてくれております。
The second floor includes three spacious tatami rooms, all featuring tatami made from woven Japanese washi paper. The tatami was crafted by Mr. Inoue, who also is one of your local hosts. Mr. Yamauchi's stencil-dyed fabrics also featured on the second floor and add color and charm. Two hand made semi-double beds and additional futons are available. The space can accommodate up to six guests, ideal for families or groups of friends.
昔は西町〝銀座〟商店街と謳われた昔ながらの通りに、最近は珈琲屋さんやイタリアンが続々とオープンし、賑やかさを取り戻しつつあります。近くのあくさやさんという老舗の和菓子屋さんも、春秋の季節のお菓子はお勧めです。
In addition to the restoration of our property, cafés and restaurants have been opening on this historic street. Vibrancy is returning to the area once considered the local “Ginza”. We look forward to introducing you to the newest and best of the area.
